The Sooke Fall Fair has been a proud tradition since 1913 and has a reputation for being one of the best small town fairs in B.C.

This year the fair will celebrate 96 years while saluting agriculture in the Sooke area..

2009 also marks the "International Year of Natural Fibres" so watch for lots of special events celebrating this.

The Fair includes something for everyone with sections in Produce, Flowers, Kitchencraft, Needlecraft, Hobbies, Photography, Art & Literary Art, Wine & Beer, Poultry, Rabbits and Cavies, and Honey.

2009 Raffle First Prize

raffle prize

Sooke Fall Fair raffle tickets are now on sale.   The lucky first place winner will receive a handmade, king size quilt donated by Sooke Quilters.  This group of talented ladies has made a quilt for the Fair's major fundraiser for the past eleven years and this year's quilt is truly spectacular.  Second prize will be a $500 Home Hardware Gift Certificate and third prize $200 vouchers from Sooke Village Foods and Western Food Market.

Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased most weekends at ticket sales tables located in town centre.  Watch for sales during the flea markets at the Community Hall.

Lucky winners will be selected at the Fair, Sept. 13th.
